Review on synthesis technology of polycarbonate

In this paper,structure,performance and application of polycarbonate were introduced.The preparations of polycarbonate including phosgene interfacial polymerization,indirect phosgene,liquid phase carbonylation of methanol,vapor phase carbonylation of methanol,and carbon dioxide-methanol method were reviewed.Non-phosgene technology was considered preliminarily as the development direction of preparation process of polycarbonate.The development prospects of polycarbanate were forecast.At the some time,proposals for developing polycarbonate industry of our country were put forward.
