Comparative Study of the Active Ingredient Content in Corydalis Free Fried Particles and Pieces

Objective:To compare and research the differences of quality between Corydalis Free Fried Particles and Pieces,for the clinical use of free fried particles.Methods:The potentiometric titration and RP-HPLC method for the determination of total alkaloids in Corydalis Free Fried Particles Pieces and Tetrahydropalmatine content.Results:The content of total alkaloids and Tetrahydropalmatine from the Corydalis Free Fried Particles were 5.55mg/g and 0.8537mg/g,the content of total alkaloids and Tetrahydropalmatine from the Corydalis Pieces were 5.14mg/g and 0.7276mg/g.Conclusion:The Corydalis Free Fried Particles and the traditional Corydalis Pieces containing the main effective component content have some differences,Free Fried Particles is better than the traditional Pieces.
