摘要
ABSTRACT To address the challenges associated with conventional antibiotic treatments or dressings, such as increased patient pain and resistance, there is an imperative to develop mild and durable antibiotic‐free therapies that minimize the need for frequent replacement. The present study proposes the utilization of ZGPcA@Hyd composites to augment the deficient Nitric oxide (NO) levels in the skin environment, with the aim of accelerating wound healing through a synergistic mechanism: sterilizing the acute inflammation phase and promoting tissue proliferation for enhanced wound growth. Characterized by the persistent luminescence (PL), the as‐prepared long afterglow material can continuously transmit energy to the photosensitizer to produce reactive oxygen species (ROS), further attacking the coated arginine to generate NO. The results demonstrated that ZGPcA@Hyd exhibited a sustained antibacterial effect against both common and drug‐resistant strains while exerting minimal impact on host cells during the bactericidal process. It demonstrated the effect of accelerating tissue repair in deep second‐degree burns over a period of nine days. The ZGPcA@Hyd not only compensates for the lack of physiological function in the skin but also exhibits significant potential in enhancing the biosafety of traditional long‐afterglow materials and providing gentle care for sensitive wounds.
