摘要
Nanoporous carbon templated from crystalline zeolites has received considerable attention. Here, we report the synthesis of nanoporous carbon with a hollow-sphere structure synthesized by chemical vapor deposition using zeolite titaniumsilicon-1 (TS-1) as a template. Characterization results showed that the deposition temperature and time significantly affected the morphology and textural properties of the synthesized nanoporous carbon. A Pt catalyst on nanoporous carbon exhibited considerably higher catalytic activity (98.6%) and selectivity (99.2%) for nitrobenzene hydrogenation than a Pt catalyst on activated carbon (32.3% activity and 59.9% selectivity).
