Development of a large format and wide-angle multi-camera system of close-range photogrammetry

According to the principle of large format digital camera used in modern aerial photogrammetry,the paper developed a multi-camera system used in close-range photogrammetry.The system is composed of five ordinary digital cameras.Considering the effect of lens distortion and photographic depth, the paper gave the design framework of the system,the calibration method,and the images processing methods.Experiment was carried out on the multi-camera system using indoor orbit determined mobile photogrammetry system,and the results showed that the multi-camera system could be used for the high precision photogrammetry of the ground large objects.
