Spectrophotometric Determination of Dextrose-glyceric Polysaccharide in Konjac Tablets

A spectrophotometric method was developed for the determination of dextrose-glyceric polysaccharide in this paper.The method was based on the color reaction between 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid and dextrose-glyceric polysaccharide.The method has been applied to the determination of dextrose-glyceric polysaccharide in Kanjac tablets with the recovery of 98.8% and relative standard deviation of 3.0%(n=5).
