To obtain high power conversion efficiency for polymer solar cells, highly efficient light absorption is crucial. We fabricate solar cells based on blends of poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT) as electron donors and [6,6]-phenyl C60-butyric acid methyl eater(PCBM) as electron acceptor in organic solvents, and dual optimization power conversion efficiency of polymer solar cells by spin-coating a P3HT layer between Poly-(3, 4-ethylenedioxythiophene): poly(styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS) and active layer and incorporate Ag nanoparticles in the active layers. The thickness of P3HT layer is 45 nm and mass ratio of Ag nanoparticles is 5%, which are introduced by fabricate solar cell, lead to surface morphology and internal structure of active layers. The UV-Vis absorption spectrum and external quantum efficiency of solar cells improve significantly and show a red-shift. We obtain an short circuit current density of 11.21 mA/cm2 and power conversion efficiency of 3.79%.
