A New Flavanone and a New Flavanone Glycoside from Scutellaria baicalensis

A new flavanone (2S)-5,7,2' 5'-tetrahydroxy-flavanone 1 together with a new flavanone glycoside (2S)-5,7,2',5'-tetrahydroxy-flavanone 7-O-β-D-g1ucopyranoside 2, were isolated from the dry roots of Scutellaria baicalensis. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data.
