Preparation technology of spherical WC powder by plasma method

The preparation technology of spherical WC powder was studied by induction plasma.Above 85% spherical powder in the prepared powder could be obtained through changing parameters.And the flowability,particle size,the impurity content of powder before and after plasma treatment were measured and compared.The result shows that the standard spherical powder of WC can be prepared by plasma technology,oxygen content is decreased markedly,and the particle size distribution can be accurately controlled by adjusting technological parameters.
