Progress in Research on Cervical Cancer Vaccine

Cervical cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in gynecology.The persistent infection of human papilloma virus(HPV) correlates with cervical cancer .HPV vaccines draw more attention in the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer.By the stimulated cell and humoral immune response, HPV vaccines can prevent and control infection of HPV effectively,then play an important role in the treatment of cervical cancer.New preventive HPV vaccine has been available in many countries.Therapeutic vaccines, such as peptide vaccines, protein vaccines, viral vector vaccines and DNA vaccines , have made a further progress.This paper reviews the new progress of HPV vaccines.
