MgAl-layered double hydroxides(MgAl-LDHs),containing laurylether phosphate anions,were obtained using reconstruction method.X-ay diffraction (XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FFIR) and Thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) were used to characterize the structure and thermal degradation behaviour of laurylether phosphate intercalated MgAI-LDH(MgAI-LDH-PK).Based on the ananlysis of XRD and FTIR,it can be concluded that the laurylether phosphate was intercalated into the gallery of the LDH sheets.TG results show that thermal decomposition process of MgA1-LDH-PK exhibits three obviously thermal decomposition stages, corresponding to volatilization of adsorbing water on LDH,the loss of interlayer water molecules and elimination of interlayer hydroxy groups and thermal degradation of interlayer guest organic anions.
