Research and Application Advances on Microbe-produced Pesticides in China

Microbe-produced pesticides include microbial agrochemical and agro-antibiotic. The bacillus thuringiensis(BT)preparations, virus pesticides, fungal pesticides and herbicides belong to the microbial agrochemical, while the bioactive compounds produced by microbial secondary metabolism and their chemic-modified compounds belong to the agro-antibiotic. Along with more and more chemical pesticides were restricted or prohibited, microbe-produced pesticides have immense application foreground as a kind of bio-agrochemicals. In this paper, the research and application advances on above-mentioned microbe-produced pesticides were summarized.
