摘要
Salp Swam Algorithm is a new bio-inspired global search algorithm, which was inspired by the simulation behavior of salps in oceans during foraging and navigating and tested for 19 well known benchmark problems and 5 classical engineering design problems i.e. cantilever beam, welded beam, three-truss, I-beam, tension/compression designs problems and airfoil for aircrafts. In the proposed research, the author has developed the ameliorated variant of the classical salp swarm optimizer to improve its exploitation phase to further extent.
