摘要
CO2 capture, utilization, and storage is a well-acknowledged strategy in mitigating CO2 emissions, but its development is largely limited by the complex technological processes and relatively high cost. As an emerging concept of CO2 capture, utilization, and storage, integrated carbon capture and utilization (ICCU) could potentially solve the problems by simultaneous CO2 capture and conversion into valuable chemicals, thus began to attract the worldwide attentions recently. To promote the scientific research and industrial application of ICCU, this review critically discusses the various technical routes of ICCU according to different reducing gas conditions, summarizes the construction of adsorption/catalytic materials and the investigation of complex in-situ CO2 desorption/conversion processes in recent years, and prospects the future research focus of ICCU.
