A protic ionic liquid catalyzed strategy for selective hydrolytic cleavage of tert-butyloxycarbonyl amine (N-Boc)

An efficient strategy for selective hydrolytic cleavage ofN-tert-butyloxycarbonyl (Boc) group is devised using protic ionic liquid as catalyst. The cleavage reaction proceeded well in the presence of many other labile protecting groups.
