Specimens of CuZnAl shape memory alloys were irradiated by electron irradiation with an energy of 1.7?MeV. DSC results show that A s increases from 339?K to 347?K, M s increases from 330?K to 340?K and A s- M s raises 3?K after irradiation. XRD results show that Δ d increases with irradiation. The point defects induced by electron irradiation make the lattice distortion of martensite phase and the increase of the ordering degree which bring about the stabilization of martensite.
