Effect of Steaming Treated and Drying Process on Discoloration in Small Diameter Larch

The effect of steaming treated and drying process for drying discoloration of small diameter larch was studied.The results showed that L* slowly decreased in the period of drying,which was more less than the effect of steaming treated;steaming treated and drying process all caused obvious discoloration,especially the effect of the former.Otherwise,paper also analyzed factors which had an affect on discoloration.
