摘要
The low temperature heat capacity and far infrared spectra of AlBr3(c) have been determined. The results of these measurements are used to assign the vibrational frequencies of Al2Br6(g) and calculate the thermodynamic functions of AlBr3(c), AlBr3(l), AlBr3(g), and Al2Br6(g). The entropies, So(298.15 K), of AlBr3(c), AlBr3(g), and Al2Br6(g) are calculated as 43.08, 84.5, and 130.8 cal K−1 mol−1, respectively. The enthalpy of vaporization, ΔHvo(298.15 K), of AlBr3(l) is calculated as 7.81 kcal mol−1.
