Application of Grouped Principal Component Analysis

On the basis of both orthogonal factor analysis method and grouped principal component analysis method,a comparative study is made on the 13 cities of Jiangsu province in 2010. Results show that grouped principal component analysis is more reasonable than orthogonal factor analysis in the investigation. Some suggestions are put forward to improve the economic development of Jiangsu province,and can be used as a reference for government decision.
