Clinical Observation and Nursing for Paralytic Ileus after Abdominal Operation

[Objective]To observe the clinical manifestation and nursing of paralytic ileus after abdominal operation.[Methods]Analysis was made on 30 cases of paralytic ileus after abdominal operation.[Results]It is indicated that paralytic ileus usually occurred 3 to 5 days after operation;through close observation and active nursing,26 cases were free from paralytic ileus within 1 to 1 days,4 cases within 4 to 5 days.[Conclusion]Pre-operation preparation,close observation after operation combined with effective nursing can improve the recovery of intestinal function and prevent the occurrence of paralytic ileus.
