PROGRESS IN Ti MATRIX COMPOSITES FABRICATED BY POWDER METALLURGY IN SITU METHOD

By analyzing different Ti alloy matrix and reinforcement for Ti based composite,the research and application of powder metallurgy process is reviewed.Future research areas in the powder metallurgy technology for the production of particle reinforced Ti based composites are pointed out in this paper.
