Study on Regrinding of Chisel Edge for New Micro-drill

To raise drilling performance of new micro-drill,a novel method was advanced for reginding of chisel edge.Based on the kinematic relationship of regrinding,a mathematical model was established for the chisel edge regrinding and the solution of grinding parameter was obtained.The results of computer simulation demonstrate that the proposed method is effective in regrinding chisel edge.
