Objective:To observe the effects of dexmedtomidine to emergence agitation during general anesthesia.Methods:60cases of patients accepted general anesthesia, were randomly divide into 2groups:group A(combine dexmedetomidine)and group B(only accepted general anesthesia),group A received dexmedetomidine 1μg/kg was injected 15minutes preoperatively followed by continuous infusion 0.2μg.kg-1.h-1.Operation before the end of the 20 minutes to stop infusion.Record each time point during general anesthesia hemodynamic changes and the incidence of emergence agitation. Results:The patients of group A had significantly decreased heart rate before induction of anesthesia, and stable hemodynamic before and after extubation, above all, significantly reduced emergence agitation(P 0.05).Conclusion:Given dexmedetomidine during general anesthesia can reduce emergence agitation.
