Application of ProCAST Software in Die Casting's Numerical Simulation

As a forming technique,die casting is broadly used in the multi-profession and multi-domain.The finite element analysis software ProCAST used to simulate the temperature field,stress field and flow field of the die casting process can effectively improve the accuracy of casting process.The application situation of ProCAST in die casting is discussed from three aspects,the pre-treatment technology,the prediction of shrinkage and porosity and the numerical simulation of stress field.
