Discussion on On-line Monitoring of Fly-ash Erosion of Boiler Economizers

The economizer tube failures of the boilers often take place. They are mostly caused by fly ash erosion.They have unforeseen features.Through analyzing and studying on heat transfer model and wearing characteristic of the economizer,a method of monitoring the wearing extent of the economizer is proposed.
