摘要
Rapid industrialization and ever-growing human activities have caused more and more serious water pollution in the last few decades, posing great threats towards both human health and ecological environment. Organic dyes, as one of the major water pollutants, are usually toxic, chemically stable, and hard to degrade. In this paper, a novel PCN-222(Zn)/GO composite was obtained by combining porphyrin-based metal organic framework material PCN-222(Zn) with graphene oxide (GO). The structure and morphology of the composite were characterized by FTIR, XRD, SEM, and optical microscopy. The thermal stability and optical properties were studied by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and fluorescence spectroscopy. PCN-222(Zn) and PCN-222(Zn)/GO were used as both adsorbents and photocatalysts for the adsorption and visible light photodegradation of organic dye methylene blue in aqueous solutions. It is found that the blending of GO can improve the photocatalytic degradation activity of PCN-222(Zn) towards organic dyes.
