Construction of two novel non-penetrating Co-MOFs derived from designed 2,4,6-tri(2,4-dicarboxyphenyl)pyridine: synthesis, structure and gas adsorption properties

Two Co( ii )-based metal–organic frameworks have been successfully constructed from a polycarboxyl group ligand. Both MOFs have non-penetrating network structures, and show moderately high selective separation of C 2 H 2 , C 2 H 4 and CO 2 from CH 4 .
