Nickel foam deposited with borophene sheets used as a self-supporting binder-free anode for lithium-ion batteries

Nickel foam-supported borophene sheets were prepared using an improved chemical vapor deposition process. The as-obtained borophene sheets have crystaline nature, where the β 12 phase is dominant and contributes to high capacity for lithium storage.
