摘要
In recent years the demand for airspace access of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) increased significantly and is continuously increasing for different altitude-types UAS. These unmanned systems can operate in both controlled and uncontrolled airspace and can be piloted by legitimate or malicious actors. Solutions to proactively address any safety risks need to be developed and implemented based on the airspace-type they operate in. Besides air traffic management, through flight scheduling and divided airspace operations, the seamless integration of these new entrants requires a thorough risk analysis process. This paper captures the UAS operational concept and addresses the airspace integration requirements through capturing hazards and identification of safety risks added to airspace operations. A case-study with two different formal modeling solution approaches for a specific-type UAS operated in a crowded environment is also provided.
