摘要
This paper presents an experimental approach to find the equivalent circuit model representation of Li-ion battery. Design and implementation of an accurate battery charger require a precise battery model. The experiment is carried out in a Li-ion battery cell. The experimental results is curve fitted to find relationship between the Open Circuit Voltage (OCV) and State of Charge (SOC) forthe estimation of SOC. The Thevenin model battery parameters are estimated by the recursive least square algorithm using the experimental results. The approach is extended to build the battery model for a Li-ion battery of higher capacity.
