Research Trends of ‘Conversation Analysis’

The purpose of this study is to analyze the trends in ‘conversation analysis’ research published domestically. A total of 459 relevant papers published from 2002 to July 2023 were collected and analyzed through the Korean Citation Index. First, the size of the published papers and the distribution of the journals in which the papers were published, as well as the academic fields to which the journals belong, were analyzed. Then, the characteristics of the citing papers that used these papers as references were identified, in order to analyze the academic influence. The significance of this study lies in not only comprehensively understanding the overall trends in domestic ‘conversation analysis’ research but also analyzing citation patterns that have not been examined in previous studies to determine the academic influence of these research papers.
