摘要
Low-dimensional metal halides have been investigated intensively in recent years due to their potential application as optoelectronic materials. Here, we report an antimony-based organic–inorganic hybrid that presents strong photoluminescence at room temperature originating from self-trapped excitons (STEs). This compound is strongly luminescent with an internal quantum yield as high as 84% and exhibits ferromagnetism at room temperature. It also shows luminescent quenching when exposed to methanol, demonstrating its potential as a methanol detecting material.
