Etching Test and Analysis on Macrostructure and Defect of Continuous Casting Slab

Slab quality has been improved outstandingly in recent years with exploitation of high technology addiction.To adapt technics of continuous casting slab and improvement dendritical shape of continuous casting slab begins to be detected except for macro etch test for defects,such as crack,loose,segregation and bubbles of continuous casting slab in laboratory.This paper analyzed and compared detailedly various Etch tests and detecting methods for continuous casting slab.
