Determination of Octane Numbers of Gasoline from Fushun Refinery No.2 by PLS and NIR Spectroscopy

The octane numbers of gasoline from Fushun refinery No.2 were determined by using partial least squares(PLS) and near infrared(NIR) spectrometer.The predictive model of octane numbers of gasoline was developed by using PLS.Experimental result indicates that,the NIR spectrometer combining with PLS can be used for quantitative analysis of gasoline octane.
