Determination of Cinnamaldehyde in Cassia Bark Capsule by Gas Chromatography

A GC method for the determination of cinnamaldehyde in cassia bark capsules has been developed.The samples were extracted with methanol.The mean recovery was 95.48%(n=5).This method is accurate,rapid and simple for the detemination of cinnamaldehyde in cassia bark capsules.
