Discussion on Energy saving of Alumina Production by Bayer Method

As most bauxite in China is diaspore,now most alumina production methods in our county are Bayer method,and how to reduce the production cost is the most critical factor to determine the enterprise benefit,in the alumina production process,with energy price rising,the energy cost proportion of the production cost is also growing.Aiming at the current situation of domestic production,energy efficiency is still greater room for improvement.From these aspects of project design,determination of the system parameters and selecting of main production processes and optimization of production indicators,how to reduce energy consumption of the aluminum production to the international advanced level by applying appropriate and advanced technology and strengthening the awareness of energy conservation was discussed.
