Studies on Chemical Constituents from Stem of Ficus ischnopoda

Objective: To study the chemical constituents from the stem of Ficus ischnopoda. Method: The chemical constituents were isolated and purified by silica gel column,RP C 18 and sephadex LH-20 column chromatography. Their structures were identified by physicochemical properties and spectral data. Result: The twelve components were isolated and identified as catechin(1),epicatechin(2),apigenin(3),licoflavone C(4),6-prenylapigenin(5),quercetin(6),luteolin(7),scopleton(8),3-O-trans-p-coumaroyltormentic acid(9),N-trans-feruloyltyramine(10),N-trans-3,4-O-dimethylcaffeoyl dopamine(11) and oxypeucedanin hydrate(12). Conclusion: All compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time,and compound 11 was isolated from the natural source for the first time
