摘要
The slip-ring of inertial platform in inertial navigation system is mainly responsible for the various signals transmission between the inertial platform inner and outer.Its failure will directly lead to the system failure.For three failure modes of slip-ring: larger contact resistance,lower insulation strength and slip-ring burning,the paper analyzes the failure mechanism of slip-ring using fretting wear and electrical contact theory,and presents the improvement measures by combining the author practical work experience.These measures are implemented in the slip-ring production.The system failure statistics shows that these measures are effectives.Compared with the original,the failure rate of slip-ring is reduced by 38%.
