Objective:To determining the contents of menthol in compound camphor spirit.Method:Determining the degree of polary of compound camphor spirit by polarimetric method and calculating the contents of menthol.Results:The recovery was 97 59% (RSD=1 06%),the linear range was 2 4～38 4mg/ml.Conclusion:The method is simple,rapid and accurate.
