Sjögren Syndrome

Abstract Sjögren syndrome is an autoimmune disease of unknown aetiology characterized by inflammation and dysfunction of exocrine glands. Current treatments are symptomatic. Study of its aetiopathogenesis may be a key to understanding autoimmune disease in general.
