Development of a Ru–porphyrin-based supramolecular framework catalyst for styrene epoxidation

A new microporous supramolecular-framework catalyst containing Ru( ii )–porphyrin and pyrenylphenyl moieties is synthesised and structurally characterised. The framework catalyst efficiently promotes the epoxidation reactions of styrene derivatives.
