Study on Condition of Itaconic Acid Production by Liquid Fermentation

Effects of carbon source,nitrogen source and elements on production of itaconic acid by Aspergillus terreus with liquid fermentation were studied.Result showed that the optimal medium for itaconic acid production was as followed in 100mL broth containing glucose 5g,NH4 NO3 0.2g,MgSO4.7H2O 0.16g,FeSO4.7H2 O 0.004g and KH2 PO4 0.006g.When incubated at 37℃ and 180r/m,the content of itaconic acid was 4.5% of broth after 5d.
