Clinical Analysis of 2260 Cases of Infertility by Hysteroscopy

Objective:To investigate the value of hysteroscopy in the etiological diagnosis of infertility.Methods: From May 2003 to November 2009,2260 infertility patients were performed hysteroscopy and microscopic tubal surgery in our hospital.Results: In 2260 patients,733 cases were fallopian tube obstruction(32.43%),187 cases were endometrial polyps(8.27%).The two are the main reason for infertility.The uncommon cause of primary infertility was uterine malformations(1.53%),and the uncommon cause of secondary infertility were intrauterine foreign body and intrauterine adhesions(4/756).Conclusion: Hysteroscopy is the first choice in etiological diagnosis of infertility.
