Research of Baseline Implement

Baseline is an important part of configuration management,and it′s the main approach for achieving product configuration management.In order to reflect truly the configuration of products,make configuration recordable and traceable,it should be necessary to adopt baseline management for NRIET.Based on the baseline implement of windchill,this paper analyzes each setp of baseline management,explains the detailed difference around the change,expounds baseline′s launch and change management according to baseline′s type,function and useness.While the baseline management being put in practice,the products′ configuration can assure drawing and product consistent,and it can make maintenance more convenient.
