TO EVALUATE THE VALIDITY OF IGNEOUS ROCK FRACTURES WITH THE ANISOTROPY OF TRANSVERSE WAVES

In research of fracture reservoirs,the validity of fractures is always a difficulty in well logging interpretation.The dipole transverse wave imaging well logging data contain much correlative information about the fracture validity.With the anisotropy of transverse wave extracted from the dipole transverse waves well logging data,fracture validity can be evaluated through well logging.Through practical application in research areas,it is proved that the validity of igneous rock fractures can be analysed qualitatively with the anisotropy of transverse waves from dipole transverse wave imaging well logging.
