Synthesis and characterization of the biodegradable polyester polyurethane waterborne

Polyethylene-1,4-buthylene adipateglycol(PBA)was used as soft segment and the dihydroxy acid(DMPA)was used as hydrophilic chain extender to prepare the waterborne polyurethane(WPU)prepolymer body,which was modified by the silicone terpolymer(S)to make a series of WPU emulsion.Through Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),water contact angle and water degradation,water testing,the structure and properties of the WPU were characterized.The results show that the water resistance of the polyurethane film and the water contact angle increased with the increasment of the content of S,the degradation rate of the film increased with the increasment of the content of dihydroxy acid DMPA.Applying the waterborne polyurethane(WPU)to the fabric cashmere,the pilling performance of cashmere fabric improves.
