A Review of Domestic Research in Export Sophistication

Export Sophistication was first proposed by foreign scholars,and it can reflect the export commodities' structure of one specific industry of a country(or region).If the export sophistication of a country(or region) is higher,it means its technical level is relatively higher.This index can also reflect the status of a country(or region) in the international division of labor system..The study of export sophistication is quite mature abroad.But in China,only a few scholars start the study,which is not enough and very weak.This paper makes a summary and an analysis of export sophistication based on the foreign and domestic research.
