This paper studied the effect of TEA and TIPA on grinding kinetics of cement. The result showed that the specific surface area of grinding material had good linear relationship with the square root of grinding time. Both TEA and TIPA could observably improve the grinding effect,including the specific surface area,particle size distribution and energy consumption during grinding. TEA and TIPA could obviously increase the specific surface area,grinding 30 min,0. 09% dosage of TIPA cement specific surface area increased 18. 8%,and the content of particles between 3-32 μm,which determines the strength of cement; when compared with blank sample. It was found that the addition of TEA or TIPA could observably shorten the grinding time to achieve a desired specific surface area.
