Based on the in-situ direct shear test system and the mechanical properties of grouting loess,it is proved that the test method applied to grout-injected loess is feasible and rational according to the analysis and the comparison between the shear strengths curves of undisturbed loess and grout-injected loess. As the result shown,the shear strengths of the grout-injected soil are improved quite obviously,and the method can be referenced and used in injection reinforcement project in loess areas.
