A kind of new cellulose fiber grafted by β-cyclodextrin was prepared.On the basis of preparation,mechanism and technological parameters of graft were discussedt,hermal property and structure of the new cellulose fiber was characterized by DSC and IR,respectively.The experiments showed that it is vital that cellulose fiber is oxidized by epichlorohydrin,of which the best technological parameters are as follows: 1g cellulose fiber needs 7 mL epichlorohydrin、6 mL NaOH 40%(w/ws)olution、2.5h and 40℃;after being grafted by β-cyclodextrint,he cellulose fiber has secondly transformation temperature,which should be attributed to the movement of the radicals.The molecular structure of cellulose is not destroyed after being grafted.The experimental results can benefit the development of the application of β-cyclodextrin in textile industry.
